LCCN Staff Report
A 27-year-old man was arrested Sunday after allegedly burglarizing a Hidden Hills mansion reportedly belonging to Kim Kardashian and attempting to leave the property with a vehicle and other valuables.
According to KTLA, deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lost Hills Station were called to the 24800 block of Long Valley Road shortly before 4 p.m. after security guards spotted a man loading numerous items into a vehicle at the property.
Deputies responding to the gated community located the suspect and took him into custody on suspicion of stealing a vehicle and other valuable property from the residence.
Investigators told KTLA that authorities had not determined whether anyone was inside the home when the alleged burglary occurred.
Kardashian and her children reportedly have not been staying at the approximately $60 million mansion while renovations are underway. The California Post reported that the family has been living in a rental property nearby during the work.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has not released the name of the 27-year-old suspect.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Hidden Hills is an exclusive gated community in the Santa Monica Mountains immediately adjacent to Calabasas and is home to numerous celebrities and entertainment industry figures.
