A man who lives at the location with his 90-year-old mother told deputies he witnessed another man kill the victim. He claims he drove the killer to another location, dropped him off, and returned to the home to call 911.
The victim was identified only as a Hawaiian Gardens resident in his 20s.
Seems like there is a murder connected with this city monthly. Thought the casino incomes were to clean up this city? More and more homicides are being reported. Hawaiian Gardens and East Lakewood have recently lost 2 grocery stores: Walmart Grocery and Ralphs, plus few yrs ago, lost Vons. When is the city council going to address this mass exit? Miss shopping at Plowboys.
