NORWALK (CNS) - A man whose death in Norwalk prompted an investigation by sheriff's homicide detectives was identified by the coroner's office today as 23-year-old Paul Joseph Rivera. The death was reported at 3:53 p.m. Friday in the 12000 block of Nava Street, said Deputy Ryan Rouzan of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Information Bureau. The Norwalk man was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies responded to the scene to investigate a report of gunfire, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office. Detectives were dispatched to investigate the circumstances of the man's death, Rouzan said. An examination to determine the cause of death was pending, according to the coroner's office.
