A banner week for HMG-CN!

First to report that Central Basin President Bob Apodaca is the unidentified “elected local official” cited in the latest FBI court filing in the Calderon corruption case. Apodaca worked for Ron Calderon in 2007-2008 in a pay-to-play scheme between Tom and Ron Calderon to retain the $130,000 annual contract Tom Calderon had with Central Basin.

In addition, HMG-CN found that Apodaca did not file his 2007-2008 Statement of Economic Interests Form 700, a violation of FPPC rules subject to a $5,000 fine for each violation.
