Sergeant Adriane Pachicano, attached to the 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, stationed at Camp Pendleton, was honored in the City of Cerritos on Saturday, September 27, at the Sheraton Hotel Fountain Court.
Michey Christiason and Family served as his host.
Sgt Pachicano’s and his wife spent the weekend in Cerritos with lodging and meals complements of our sponsors: Sheraton Hotel and restaurants Grille 91, Mimi’s, TGI Friday, Ranch House BBQ, and the Macaroni Grill. The Cerritos Performing Arts Center provided them two tickets to the Street Corner Renaissance opening for Jay Leno.
Sergeant Adriane Pachicano is a decorated Marine veteran who was recently awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat “V” for his dedication to duty while deployed in Afghanistan.
When not at work, Sgt Pachicano coaches two youth basketball teams on base where he instills the values of hard work and fair play into more than two dozen young children.
Although he routinely works long days, he still devotes time to coach practices and games. He is a positive influence on all Marines throughout his company. His exceptional physical fitness, knowledge and desire to succeed a leader and makes him a role model for all and why he is a Meritorious Marine.
