Long Beach Police on Saturday were continuing to investigate a shooting on Rose Avenue on Friday night that left two men dead, and two others injured.
Killed were Sophon Kao, 26, and Jerry Chim, 24, both of Long Beach. NBC LA News confirmed the identity of the two victims during their 11 p.m. newscast on Saturday night.
Two women also suffered gunshot wounds to their torsos. They were hospitalized in serious but stable condition, according to a statement from the Long Beach Police Department. The names of the two females were not released.
The shooting happened about 10 p.m. Friday in the 6500 block of North Rose Avenue in Long Beach, said Long Beach Police Sgt. David Marander. The victims had been attending a birthday party before the shooting took place.
The suspect, or suspects are still outstanding.
