Law enforcement officials have confirmed to Hews Media Group-Community News that Timothy Teopaco, age 19, was the person who died as the result of a gun shot wound in an incident that took place last Saturday at City Plaza in Artesia.
Teopaco was shot around 12:20 a.m. on Saturday, July 27 outside of an eatery at the popular entertainment center that is located on South Street. He died at a nearby hospital from his wounds.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide officials confirmed Teopaco’s identity in an interview on Friday afternoon. According to Teopaco’s Facebook page he was a current resident of Long Beach.
