Store manager Tammy Cannon began her Walmart career in 1989 as an hourly associate as a part-time cashier at a store in Maldon, Mo. “We are so excited to share our newly expanded store with the Cerritos community,” said Cannon. “We think customers will be pleased with our expanded store with a new bakery, deli and fresh meats, as well as with the savings we offer on our full line of groceries and merchandise. On grand-opening day, we will be offering product samples and giveaways, and we invite everyone to stop in and see the new store.”

…….Well will Wal-Mart boost money to repair our 1,000+ Breached Public Works issues, citywide?????
Wal-Mart 90703 Reminds me of a mini former Gemco- Fedco, without the convenient loading zone for Shopping Cart to Car Trunk Service! Really miss the enormous deli in the former Cerritos Fedco, as great one place shopping for catering and small take home meals. Wal-mart can improve on the existing garden and patio shops. With almost 47% of Cer residents being seniors, we need on-line shopping, with home delivery, compared to the Vons markets.
Wal-Mart Long Beach Towne Center, will still be the Crown Jewel for Cerritos, as convenient 24/7 shopping, plus the Superstore is better stocked, compared to both La Palma and Cerritos pads.
Disappointed in the new La Palma Wal-Mart grocery, too small, not enough shopping hrs, no deli and no liquor. Ralphs (Both Los Alamitos- Rossmoor) far surpasses this location in La Palma.
Cerritos should be ashamed of the poor condition of the Cerritos Home Depot, as the parking lot and interior store is trashed. No wonder why Cerritos and La Palma shoppers are fleeing to the Home Depot Super Store in Yorba Linda-Savi Ranch Mall, as huge -clean well stocked store, cheaper sales tax and top of the line rated personnel. Garden section of the HD in Yorba Linda, is the flagship for all of the Home Depots on the West Coast.
Cerritos sales tax revenues are fleeing to Long Beach and Yorba Linda.
PS: Former city La Palma , from the 60’s-90’s, replaced by Denny and now closed Korean cafe, has closed it Korean Cafe. Wish Kings Imperial was back and operational, best Turkey Dinner Specials in towne……
