La Mirada Deputies Apprehend Burglars
Last week, an alert deputy was patrolling La Mirada when he saw a vehicle matching the description of a vehicle used in recent residential burglaries in the community. He stopped and contacted the occupants, who also matched the description of the suspects described in a crime teletype that was broadcast to surrounding law enforcement agencies.
Deputies recovered laptop computers, jewelry, and marijuana from the vehicle. During the investigation, it was discovered the owner of one of the laptop computers resided in the area of the traffic stop. Deputies visited the residence and discovered the home was ransacked. The homeowner was contacted and subsequently identified the stolen property. The suspects were charged with residential burglary.

A grand theft was reported on the 14500 block of Rayfield Dr.
Grand Theft Vehicle
A vehicle was reported stolen from the 15700 block of Birchwood St.
A vehicle reported stolen from the City of Downey was recovered on the 13800 block of Adoree St.
