Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Bureau facilitated the arrest of a high school assistant band instructor at his home in Diamond Bar on Tuesday.
Suspect 33 year-old Albert Anthony Morales is alleged to have sexually assaulted a 16 year old female during the summer of 2006 while he lived in Diamond Bar. The student was attending Sunny Hills High School at the time.
Suspect Morales had been tutoring band students, specifically as a percussion instructor for the past 13 years and has taught or volunteered in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas, including:
2012-2013 Diamond Ranch High School
2004-2009 Sunny Hills High School
1998-2000 Diamond Bar High School
The detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying possible additional victims during the suspect’s tenure as a band instructor.
