A tattoo shop in South Gate was the scene of a shooting death on Sunday.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives reported that they “are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult in the 4200 block of Tweedy Boulevard which occurred at approximately 11:30 A.M.”
“Detectives responded to the location regarding a dead person inside the tattoo parlor. The victim was found inside the location by family members. The victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene,” said Deputy Mark Pope in a statement to the media.
Law enforcement did not release the identity of the victim or the actual name of the business location where the shooting death took place.
According to the statement, “there were no witnesses to the incident, and Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in this matter. ”
