Long Beach:
A multi-agency Major Narcotics crew seized approximately 16 tons of marijuana Thursday afternoon at a commercial nursery located in Long Beach.
Law enforcement investigators served a search warrant at the Rolling Hills Nursery on Orange Ave in Long Beach and when they did, they found one of the biggest stashes of marijuana found in recent memory in Southern California.
The Marijuana was found in two large storage containers that were stored on the property.
The estimated value of the marijuana is between $150 and $300 million dollars depending on the quality.
Four male Hispanic suspects were arrested at the scene and subsequently transported to Lakewood Sheriff’s Station for booking.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff‘s Headquarters Narcotics Bureau is leading the investigation and no further details are available at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
