On July 12, 2016, a tribunal of jurists at the Permanent Court of the Hague found in favor of the Republic of the Philippines and against the People’s Republic of China over disputes concerning the sea between China and the Phillipines.
Word on the street is that a proposal is underway to declare the international waters as the South East Asia Sea.
