‘Suspicious Death’ in Pico Rivera Causes Amtrak Delays Between L.A., O.C.

An investigation of a “suspicious death”near the tracks in Pico Rivera caused train travel delays between Los Angeles and Orange County on Sunday morning, according to Amtrak.

The body of a man was discovered about 9 a.m. along a set of railroad tracks in the Rio Hondo River basin between Slauson Avenue and Washington Boulevard, Deputy Michelle Sanchez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Information Bureau said.
