The charred body found after a brush that fire burned 50 acres on Mount Wilson is that a 18-year-old from the San Fernando Valley who went missing last week.
The identity of Matthew Huerta out of Sylmar was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner- Corners office. The 50 acre fire that threatened a historic Observatory broke out around 4:45 AM a.m. October 17.
