Amtrak Engineer of Derailed Train Identified as Brandon Bostian, Changed Facebook Page Immediately After Crash

Officials have identified the Amtrak train engineer involved in the deadly crash in Philadelphia as Brandon Bostian of New York.

News outlets are saying that Bostian has hired a lawyer. HMG-CN found his Facebook page and discovered that he changed his profile picture to a black box 17 hours ago. Several posts indicated Bostian’s Facebook friends knew he was the engineer of the doomed train.

The 32 year old has worked eight years for Amtrak, four as a Conductor and four as an Engineer.
