UPDATED: Murder-Suicide Was Motive in Shooting Incident on Marshall Street in El Monte Resulting in Three Deaths

UPDATE:

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are continuing to assist El Monte Police Department personnel investigate the shooting death of a man and two women in the 9900 block of Marshall Street, El Monte.

Detectives have learned that El Monte Police Department personnel responded to a “gun-shot victim” call for service. Upon arrival, officers discovered three gunshot victims inside the garage area of the location. All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary information revealed the male shot the female victims and then turned the gun on himself in an apparent suicide.

The victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
