A Norwalk resident died early Friday after a tragic accident took place on Firestone Boulevard. Rudy Carreon, 38, of Norwalk, died in the crash, Los Angeles County Coroner officials told local media outlets.
It is being reported that Carreon was driving an SUV going east on Firestone Boulevard, just north of Rosecrans Avenue, around 2 a.m. when he apparently lost control. A female passenger in the SUV was treated for minor injuries. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
