White substance found in suspicious envelope at Paramount Studios

Rescue workers called; no injuries reported

Members of the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to famed Paramount Studios in Hollywood on Monday afternoon after it was discovered that a suspicious envelope with a “unknown” white substance was found in a envelope.
Five people were looked at by paramedics, and no one was injured, according to LAFD spokesman Eric Scott.
The call came into law enforcement at about 1:30 afternoon. Paramount Studios is located at 5555 W. Melrose Avenue in Hollywood.
