Woman dies after being struck by car in Norwalk
A 67-year-old woman has died from her injuries she sustained after being hit by a car on Studebaker Road near Firestone Boulevard on Monday night.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was killed when she stepped into traffic against a red light.
The victim is described to be a transient.
The driver of the Nissan Altima that was driving northbound on Studebaker Road was not hurt of cited.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Los Cerritos Community Newspaper will have additional updates as they become available.
