The Valley View Avenue Bridge is expected to be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning in late December as part of the first construction phase of the I-5 freeway widening. Valley View Avenue will continue to have a reduced number of travel lanes over the next few years, while construction work is taking place.
A portion of South Firestone Boulevard at Coyote Creek channel is now closed for utility relocation for a period of 4-6 months. Work will be conducted Monday to Friday, between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. Businesses along Firestone Boulevard will remain open, and detour signs will be posted.
