Suspicious Package Found at Norwalk Transit Station, Building Evacuated

City officials have alerted Hews Media Group-Community News that a suspicious package has been found chained to the fence at the Metrolink Station at the Norwalk Transit Station.

Officials have evacuated the transit station and the Norwalk Sheriff’s are re-routing traffic to avoid the area.

Several units including bomb squad have been dispatched to the area.

Imperial shut down at Shoemaker.

Trains are being sent back to Union Station.
