Local law enforcement officials are seeking the public’s help to find the hit-and-run driver who killed David Pregerson, the 23-year-old son of a well known judge..
A driver in an unknown vehicle hit Pregerson, 23, on this past Friday at about 3 a.m., at Chautauqua Boulevard and Borgos Place in Pacific Palisades.
The vehicle was driving south on Chautauqua and hit Pregerson who was in the roadway, police said. Pregerson died from his injuries on New Years Eve, the family confirmed to members of the media.
Pregerson’s grandfather, Harry, was a 9th Circuit Court judge and his father, Dean, was a U.S. District Court judge.
NBC LA is reporting that a memorial service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Wilshire Boulevard Temple, 3663 Wilshire Blvd. for David Pregerson.
Pregerson was listed as a second unit director of photography during the third season of “The Bay: The Series,” and was a graduate of UCLA.
