A violent five-car accident on the 605 Freeway (southbound) in the carpool lane near Beverly Boulevard has resulted in the death of two people and other injuries. The accident took place at around 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning As of 6:30 a.m., emergency crews were still on the scene.
