Campuses in the Cerritos area have been placed on “tactical alert” in wake of the manhunt for killer Chris Dorner on Thursday, Los Cerritos Community Newspaper has been told.
Superintendent Mary Sieu of the ABC Unified School District tells LCCN that all campuses in Cerritos have been placed on “tactical alert” and that members of the Cerritos Sheriff’s Station have been in contact with district officials about the situation.
“We have been working with Cerritos Sheriff’s Department and want to ensure that all of our campuses are safe and secure,” Sieu said.
