CARE PACKAGE ITEMS NEEDED FOR TROOPS OVERSEAS

IMG_6140

Children from Rossmoor ES in Los Alamitos gather around a U.S. Army Commander after the children presented over 1,000 hand-written letters for local troops overseas. The troops were recently deployed and came from the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos. The Los Angeles County Fire Department and the L. A. County Fire Museum also assisted. They still need care package items and they are collecting up until Jan.9 in two locations in Cerritos: LAFD Station 30 on Pioneer and 10830 Andy St.

  • Father of Dozen says:

    Confused here.

Rossmore / Los Alamitos is in Orange County, so why is Los Angeles County Fire Department crossing the lines, working the community of unincorporated area of Rossmoor, which belongs to Orange County ? Photo speaks a thousand words, this could never be duplicated in LA County / ABC school district, they’re all about helping out Asia and not about anyone else. Enjoy seeing the blond and red head students in the photos, seems like Los Alamitos School district is about diversity, which is more then absent in the ABCUSD.

  • Navy Wave says:

I’m glad this is not a photoshoot for all the councilman, commissioners, trustees, elected into Los Alamitos school district.

City of Cerritos / ABC school district is all about photographing Council persons, plus all the Who’s Who living in the ABC school district.

Cerritos is not concerned about the military, they’re concerned about the photos shoot sessions, in order to boost their campaign and political parties. Crawley, Edwards, Barrows, Hu and Chen have overused the military Non Profit advertising, until no one is following them anymore. Cerritos never pays tribute to the woman in action.
