La Palma Police are investigating a residential burglary that took place in the 5300 block of Athens Circle on Monday, April 29, 2014, at around 7:30 a.m. At least two suspects broke into the victim’s garage, after breaking out a window. Fortunately, no one was home at the time of the crime, despite the early morning hours, and the suspects fled with a number of items. The crime was captured on the home owner’s surveillance video camera system. The suspects are described as follows:
#1 – Black male in his early 20’s, slim build, six feet, 180 pounds, light facial hair, wearing a black shirt with red and white logo, a white undershirt, a gold chain, dark shorts and black/purple Air Jordan tennis shoes
#2- Black male in his early 20’s, slim build, wearing a black shirt
The same suspects were seen casing other homes shortly before the crime. Anyone with information regarding the crime or the suspects is asked to contact La Palma Police Detective Sergeant Raul Morales at (714) 690-3375.
1. Security Camera, but why no burglar alarm on the house and garage?
2. Most dwellings, cars are parked all the way to the garage door on the driveway, to prevent the garage door from being forced open.
3. Gets me the most, many LP and Cer Home are not kept up and falling apart with rot and gross negligence by the property owner. But yet, regardless of how dirty the dwelling is, there are expensive cars in the driveway, advertising the wealth of the property owner.
4. Drive the streets of both LP, Cyp and Cer, there is more wealth parked in the driveway, then there is Real Estate Values of the dwellings and property.
