This is Breaking News.

Customers watching the Super Bowl who are subscribers of Time Warner Cable in Southern California have been left in the dark as the cable system appears to have gone down due to some unknown technical issues.

Hews Media Group-Community Newspaper has received calls and text messages from Time Warner Cable Customers in Santa Fe Springs, Bellflower, Boyle Heights, East Los Angeles and North Hollywood who are reporting that outage took place at the beginning of halftime.

The company said in a Twitter message that it’s working to resolve the problem, which is not affecting the Fox high-definition channel.

“We get all of the other channels except Fox,” said a reader who identified himself as Ron.

“I was watching my team the Denver Broncos losing 22- 0 and then my FOX channel froze and then turned gray. Please let me know who wins,” was posted on the Facebook page of John Paul Drayer who is a member  of the Cerritos College Board of Trustees who is also a resident of Bellflower.

Calls into Time Warner Cable have not been answered.

More details to follow.

If you are effected, please leave a comment under this post. WHERE DO YOU LIVE, and WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?
