This is Breaking News.
Customers watching the Super Bowl who are subscribers of Time Warner Cable in Southern California have been left in the dark as the cable system appears to have gone down due to some unknown technical issues.
Hews Media Group-Community Newspaper has received calls and text messages from Time Warner Cable Customers in Santa Fe Springs, Bellflower, Boyle Heights, East Los Angeles and North Hollywood who are reporting that outage took place at the beginning of halftime.
The company said in a Twitter message that it’s working to resolve the problem, which is not affecting the Fox high-definition channel.
“We get all of the other channels except Fox,” said a reader who identified himself as Ron.
“I was watching my team the Denver Broncos losing 22- 0 and then my FOX channel froze and then turned gray. Please let me know who wins,” was posted on the Facebook page of John Paul Drayer who is a member of the Cerritos College Board of Trustees who is also a resident of Bellflower.
Calls into Time Warner Cable have not been answered.
More details to follow.
If you are effected, please leave a comment under this post. WHERE DO YOU LIVE, and WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?
I turned it to the game to watch halftime and found that I no longer had channels 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13,14, 30 and 31 I tried for an hr to call into the offices and went as long as 3 min with no answer, then busy signals and several times had my calls cut off You would think that with all they calls they could expect that they would have had the courtesy to put on an automated message…but then they are trying to sell the cable uit, so what do they care Wonder if Charter buys it, will we get better customer service?
The SUPER BOWL was off from 4:11pm to 5:59pm. What bulshit! TWC needs to make this right for it’s customers (I’m cancelling tomorrow) and refund the advertisers who paid BIG money for their ads. This is amateur bullshit TWC!

I’m canceling tomorrow. Besides, I’m sick of their million commercials anyways. They probably had a staff meeting to discuss their marketing strategy for 2025 so they didn’t notice someone forgot to flick the switch!!!
I loѵе reading throuɡh ann articlе that can make people think.

TWC BITES!
We have it – turned to the spanish sports channel then to ch 411 FoxD and it was on but had to sift through 100s of channels to find it!
DON’T BUY TWC – IF YOU HAVE IT ……CANCEL!
Advertisers of Super Bowl XLVIII GET YOUR MONEY BACK from Time Warner. They blacked out your advertising losing you 2 million viewers if not more if they were at a party that was blacked out.
