A shooting occurred last night around midnight at La Mirage, the dancing night club located at the 91 freeway and Pioneer Boulevard.
Two women were shot outside the popular nightclub, several shots were fired, and the gunman drove away.
Sheriffs said a group of men got unruly at the club and were asked to leave, they got in their car with one man firing five to six shots at the front entrance.
Two woman waiting in line to enter, were shot in the leg, both were taken to the hospital, the wounds were considered non-threatening.
Official believe the men escaped in a White Dodge Ram pickup truck.
The La Mirage bils itself as an “energetic nightlife venue offers multiple dance floors & bars, plus DJs & a variety of music.”
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Lakewood Sheriff’s Department.

Former home to the famous Bobby McGee restaurant,( 80’S-90’S ) it was a very tasty Steak – lobster House, FOOD AND SERVICE, was unbelievable, plus after hours dancing. Crime ate away at the attendees, my car’s glass moonroof was broken into one rainy night, and there was a lot of burglaries and robberies in the parking lot. Place closed, it had history of gang violence.
Plus the Korean BBQ Restaurant, South Street, adj to Skips Union Gas station, Artesia, had a mass shooting and killing spree, upstairs at the bar-dance floor, it too closed down. I did see the aftermath of the shooting and blood splattered all over. Skip was our neighbor, he sold said Union Gas station and relocated in to Yorba Linda. Skip lived in Cerritos Orig Shadow Run. Yestyears residents of Cerritos, many have fled to Yorba Linda.
