On November 6, 2016, at approximately 1:15 a.m. a suspect escaped from officer custody while at La Palma Hospital. He was seen fleeing on foot in a southerly direction. The un-named suspect is a male Hispanic, approximately 40 years of age, 5-10, 170 pounds, slightly balding, with a mustache, and cursive tattoo on his left arm. He was seen wearing an unbuttoned, plaid short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and black leather loafers. The suspect was handcuffed in front.

Update #2- Suspect In Custody
On November 6, 2016, at approximately 1:15 a.m. a suspect escaped from officer custody while at La Palma Hospital. He was last seen fleeing on foot in a southerly direction. The un-named suspect is a male Hispanic, approximately 40 years of age, 5-10, 170 pounds, slightly balding, with a mustache, and cursive tattoo on his left arm. He was last seen wearing an unbuttoned, plaid short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and black leather loafers. The suspect was handcuffed in front. The suspect was not armed, but should be considered dangerous.
UPDATE #2- The escaped suspect has been located hiding in a residential neighborhood of La Palma and is now in law enforcement custody. Javier Anguiano was arrested for escape, possession of stolen vehicle, possession of dangerous drugs, and outstanding warrants. He will be booked at the La Palma Police Department and transferred to the Orange County Jail.
