Law Enforcement Supports Pico Rivera Mayor Pro Tem Bob Archuleta for Central Basin Water Board

(PICO RIVERA, CA) Today, Pico Rivera Mayor Pro Tem Bob Archuleta received another major endorsement for his bid to win the Central Basin Water Board Division 1 seat. The National Latino Peace Officers Association endorses Bob Archuleta for Central Basin Water Board, because he has demonstrated the highest ideals of honor and integrity.

“Bob Archuleta believes in the safety and security of our communities. He is committed to bridging the gap between law enforcement and our diverse local communities,” said Alan Alvarez, National Chair and Lorenzo J. Uribe, National Secretary of National Latino Peace Officers Association.

The Central Basin Water Board Division 1 consist of cities of Bell Gardens, Downey, Montebello, Pico Rivera, West Whittier-Los Nietos, and unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County and the election is November 8, 2016.

Bob J. Archuleta is a family man, small business owner, Pico Rivera Councilmember and a Presidential Appointee to the United States Military Academy at West Point. Mr. Archuleta is a former Montebello Police Reserve Officer, Los Angeles County Commissioner of Military and Veteran Affairs for over 24 years, and a Veteran and former paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division.

Bob was elected to the Pico Rivera City Council in March 2007 and is currently the Mayor Pro Tem.  In September 2015 he was appointed by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to the Assessment Appeals Board.

Bob has received Congressional Recognition Awards and Proclamations for Service and has been recognized by the Vietnam Veterans of America, Hispanic American Airborne Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars and 11th Airborne Division Association.
