A man suspected in the hit-and-run death of a Bell High School student who was struck while skateboarding has surrendered to police.
Bell police say Charles Garcia has been booked on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and is being held in lieu of $260,000 bail.
He’s suspected in the crash that killed 17-year-old Joshua Maldonado, who was killed Aug. 29.
