Eloi Vasquez from UC Berkeley website
19-year-old UC Berkeley student Eloi Vasquez, who went missing after leaving a party at USC over the weekend, has been found dead.
Police said that Vazquez was hit by a car and they couldn’t identify him immediately because of the injuries to his body.
Media outlets are reporting Vasquez was struck on the 10 freeway at around 2 a.m.
The Cal Athletics Department released a statement saying: “Eloi is a wonderful young man who has excelled both academically and athletically here at Cal.”
