Three Los Angeles residents were arrested after an alleged home burglary in Cerritos on October 9.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., Cerritos Station deputies noticed a suspicious vehicle parked on Pacino Street at Segal Street. The 20-year-old individual in the vehicle admitted to being the getaway driver for a burglary that was taking place at a residence on Segal Street.
Two other suspects – ages 35 and 44 – jumped over the residence’s fence in an attempt to flee. They were arrested.
A search of the home revealed that the suspects allegedly attempted to remove a safe from the house. Miscellaneous items were also allegedly taken.
Cerritos Station detectives are handling the follow-up investigation.
