A Norwalk Sheriff’s Deputy was involved in a car accident with another vehicle on Wednesday night and as a precaution was taken to a local hospital via an ambulance where he is undergoing a medical examination.
According to Sgt. Arias with the Norwalk Sheriff’s Station, the accident took place at around 9:30 p.m. around Rosecrans Avenue and Studebaker Road between a marked patrol car and a pedestrian vechicle.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation is still underway as of 11:56 p.m. The driver of the car that was involved in the accident with the deputy has not been cited.
The name of the deputy has not been made public.
