Look, up in the sky…
Members of the Pasadena Police Department issued a notice to members of the media about a “practice fly over” featuring U.S. Air Force F-16 Thunderbirds that will take place3 above Colorado Boulevard one day before the 2014 Rose Parade officially kicks off.
The flying unit, officially known as the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, will fly six aircraft west to east from Colorado Blvd. and Orange Grove Blvd.
The statement stressed: “This same flying unit will perform on January 1, 2014 for the Rose Parade, and as always, the flyer-over promises to a be a spectacular event.”
