Nelson Mandela has been placed on life support on Wednesday, CNN is reporting. The historical former South African president’s health has been declining during the past several days.
Multiple sources confirmed that Mandela can no long breath on his own, and has been undergoing treatment at the Mediclinic Heart Hospital in Pretoria since June 8.
South African President Jacob Zuma was scheduled to travel to Mozambique on Thursday — that trip has now been canceled.
