Lakewood — Fans, friends and family members of Latin Music star Jenni Rivera will be gathering for a public memorial at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Wednesday in Universal City.
Pedro Rivera Jr., a brother of Rivera’s will lead a 10 a.m. ceremony.
Her burial will be private, according to a statement issued to the media.
Rivera was born in Long Beach, but became a superstar in Mexico.
The 43-year-old singer and six others died on Dec. 9 in a Learjet crash in northern Mexico.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
