Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man, that occurred on November 15th in the 900 block of Holiday Drive, West Covina.
Investigators have learned that a structure fire occurred at the location, and a dead body was recovered inside the house. West Covina Police Department requested Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau personnel to assist with the investigation.
An autopsy was performed by the Los Angeles County Department Of Coroners where it was determined the victim was stabbed to death.
The victim was Ralph Simonian, an 82-year old male adult.
There is no one in custody.
