Adrienne Myers, 36, a former Norwalk Sheriff’s Deputy has been arrested for the second time in one year. Myers, was arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of making criminal threats.
According to records obtained through the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Myers was booked at the at Norwalk Station at 11:45 p.m. While apparently being escorted to a booking cell, she allegedly kicked a deputy in the groin “without provocation,” the Los Angeles Times reported on Friday.
That deputy was not injured, and Myers was released on bail at around 1 p.m. on Thursday. The deputy who was kicked worked at the Norwalk sheriff’s station, where Myers used to work, an official said. She is due to appear in a Downey courthouse on June 1.
In October, Myers was arrested in connection with a morning brawl between three deputies at La Mirada Regional Park. Deputies arrived to find their three colleagues bloodied and apparently drunk at the time.
