With Billboard chart-topping albums and its Emmy-winning PBS special You Should Dream, THE TEXAS TENORS has carved a name and a niche for itself in the American musical scene. Since the group’s whirlwind debut on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, The Texas Tenors has garnered a long list of awards and accolades, building a fan base that keeps growing. Recently named one of the Top 10 Classical artists in the world by Billboard magazine, the trio tackles Broadway tunes, Country songs, and hits from Bruno Mars to Puccini with breathtaking vocals, humor, and cowboy charm.
The group’s second PBS special, THE TEXAS TENORS: RISE, is a showcase of hits from its 2017 album RISE, the quintessential collection of music for the Classical crossover genre. With a 65-piece orchestra and full choir, the tenors perform a wide range of genres, from John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads to Puccini’s E lucevan le stele and Bruno Mars’ Just the Way You Are. The album also features a duet with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers on the iconic You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’.
Beyond the concert halls, the tenors have performed on NBC’s The Today Show, Hallmark’s Home and Family, the 28th annual
Cinematheque Awards, NBA games, the PBR World Championships in Las Vegas, and a multitude of charity events. They have performed more than 1,000 concerts worldwide, including a 24-city tour of the United Kingdom and China, and have collaborated with prestigious U.S. symphonies, including the Cleveland Pops, Houston Symphony, and the Pittsburgh Symphony.
