“New York Times” bestselling author Susan Wiggs discusses her book “Family Tree” at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 15 in the Cerritos Library Skyline Room. The free event is open to the public.
“Family Tree” is a powerful story of a woman who seemingly has it all, but ends up losing everything only to rediscover herself during the process of coming to terms with her tragedy and personal loss. The novel tackles pains of the past, the promise of the future and the healing that takes place in between. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.
A Harvard graduate, Wiggs has authored more than 50 books, including the beloved “Lakeshore Chronicles” series. Her books include “The Beekeeper’s Ball,” “Table for Five,” “Passing Through Paradise,” “The Goodbye Quilt,” “Home Before Dark” and “Lakeside Cottage.” “The Apple Orchard” is currently being made into a film.
