Military Funeral which was not attended by the 4 councilmen, who are always bragging about the military in Cerritos: Jim Edwards, George Ray, Carol Chen, John Crawley. SHAME SHAME for not being there for all of the military members.
Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, 2/13/2016; 2 o’clock this Saturday, with some light refreshments afterward in e multi-purpose room.

Gerald Wagner passed away on February 2th, 2016 after a short battle with prostrate cancer. He resided in Cerritos, California. Surviving is his wife, Sumiko Wagner, and daughter Tiffany. Mrs Wagner will be moving from Cerritos, to enjoy her new life at Montecito HOA in La Palma, with her daughter Tiffany.
Jerry was born and raised in the Dakotas, during high school joined the Navy, and retired as a Navy person after serving the country for 25 yrs. Following this, he was employed at the Mobil refineries in Santa Fe Springs. He moved to Cerritos in 1975, after leaving the city of East Lakewood. He is survived by a few sisters and brothers which live in the midwest.
Local Residents may remember the tragedy accident for his Dtr, Tiffany, she was hit by a car, while crossing Denni/Del Amo Blvd, one early evening, when she was walking with her Mother Sumi. Following this accident, she had extensive physical therapy at Rancho Los Amigos, Downey, Ca.
Jerry enjoyed doing home improvement projects around his home, his entire 40 yrs while living in Cerritos. He had a small white companion dog, called BJ, which accompanied him in the garden and pool side patio.
