Read the Kara Medrano v. Rep. Linda Sanchez Ethics Complaint

By Brian Hews

Hews Media Group-Community news has obtained the complaint filed by Kara Medrano against Rep. Linda Sanchez.

The complaint alleges wrongful termination and retaliation in violation of public policy; violation of California labor code section 1102.5, (an employer, or any person acting on behalf of the employer, shall not make, adopt, or enforce any rule, regulation, or policy preventing an employee from disclosing information to a government or law enforcement agency); intentional infliction of emotional distress, tortious interference with prospective business relations, conversion ( a tort that exposes you to liability for damages in a civil lawsuit. It applies when someone intentionally interferes with personal property belonging to another person); trespass to chattel, another personal property tort.

Kara Medrano, an ex-employee of Central Basin Municipal Water District and who formally worked for Rep. Linda Sanchez, has filed a lawsuit claiming she was fired for reporting that Sanchez and her staffers were guilty of covering up campaign violations.

Sanchez is the top Democrat on the House Ethics Committee.

Medrano is suing for $2.5 million and her job back.

Sanchez, through her staffer Alex Nguyen, said Medrano’s claims are “baseless allegations.”

The lawsuit is centered around staffer Yvette Shahinian conducting campaign work on official time, which is a violation of federal law.

The lawsuit claims that Medrano complained about it, then said that Sanchez “expressly told” Medrano that she was not allowed to speak to anyone.

Two weeks later according to the complaint, Shahinian told everybody to delete emails and documents regarding fundraising.

HMG-CN exclusively reported that Medrano was also allegedly involved in a sexual harassment incident with current Central Basin President Robert “Bob” Apodaca four years ago.

Shockingly, Medrano is Apodaca’s current wife’s daughter from a former marriage.

HMG-CN was first to report that Apodaca settled a sexual harassment lawsuit last year.

The Medrano lawsuit was first reported by law360.com and picked up by Politico and Brietbart.

Breibart put a link to Apodaca’s sexual harassment lawsuit as exclusively reported by HMG-CN on his website.

Linda, spend more time for aid to the homeless, living in your district. Both your district and your sister, Loretta, are filling up fast with thousands of homeless living in the streets, while both of you have millions in the bank accounts. Aren’t you both catholic s to boot?

This is a result of the gerrymandered districts created here in California that don’t even require a politician to campaign for the office. Once in it is theirs for term limits or life! Campaign war chests are there for their retirement. (UNTAXED GIFTS). “Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely”, Lord Acton.

    1) Why was republican Jim Edwards, CCC, so rude to hear and not allow her to sit in a chair, until 11pm, when discussing the unions during a council meeting? Why is Jim Edwards to mean to Linda?

    2) Why did she move out of Cerritos Office and relocate to Norwalk?

    3) More then decade, Linda promised council a new Del Amo Bridge to all of the Cerritos Council, during an open meeting. Nothing.

    4) Why does the TV crews enjoying filming the 2 Sts so much on TV broadcasts?
