California Republican Party Chairman Senator Jim Brulte (Ret.): “President Obama has needlessly allowed the national debt to grow by trillions of dollars without making any effort to curtail spending or steer us down the road of financial solvency. Continuing to ignore the increasingly large debt our nation is facing and once again refusing to put forward a solid plan to pay down that debt, President Obama is setting up future generations for disaster.”
California Republican Party Vice Chairman Harmeet Dhillon: “We have already seen the new Republican Congress take steps to reinvigorate the job market and economy; now we need our President to follow through on his vows for bipartisanship, and support their efforts. This is not the time for a go-it-alone attitude from our President – not when we have a Congress that is willing to work hard to get all of our communities back on track to financial prosperity.”
