Man Shot, Killed in Pico Rivera

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult that occurred on Saturday, December 20th, 2014 at 5:58 a.m. in the 5400 block of Rosemead Boulevard, Pico Rivera.

Detectives have learned that Pico Rivera Station deputies responded to a “person down” call and found the 24 year-old victim, a Pico Rivera resident, unresponsive on the sidewalk in front of the location.

The victim, who was shot in the upper torso, was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives believe the incident is gang related.
