Debra Legan has joined PIH Health as its Vice President of Marketing, Business Development and Community Benefit.
Debra has served as a consultant for nearly three years – helping to restructure and lead PIH Health’s Marketing Communications and Business Development Departments, guiding the PIH Health brand redesign and providing oversight for the development of the new website. Debra will oversee marketing, internal communications, advertising, public relations, government and civic affairs, business development, community benefit, community health education and the CareForce One mobile health unit.
Before consulting for PIH Health, Debra was Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications for Hoag Hospitals in Newport Beach and Irvine and its affiliated businesses. Prior to Hoag, Debra consulted for Hill & Knowlton, Mazda and the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). She also served as Director of Marketing and Sales Promotion for General Group International, a leading automotive aftermarket insurance and vehicle service contract administrator.
Debra has served on a number of boards of directors, including the Orange County Business Council, the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, and the Newport Beach Economic Development Committee. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.
