A photo of the crash of on Runway 28 at San Francisco International Airport has emerged from passenger David Eun via his Twitter account.

It appears that the aircraft experienced destruction of the landing gear, along with separation of both engines and both the tail and tail cone and the tail section seems to have made contact and separated from the aircraft at rocky shoreline prior to or at the beginning of the runway, far short of the intended touchdown area.

Eun is a Samsung vice president and his Twitter account is being monitored around the world after surviving the Asiana Airlines Boeing 777 crash.

Eun tweeted: “I just crash landed at SFO. Tail ripped off. Most everyone seems fine. I’m ok. Surreal…”
