Repairs to the Union Pacific Railroad will require the closure of Del Amo Boulevard, between Cherry Avenue and Paramount Boulevard, from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 13th in Lakewood.

Residents and commuters are encouraged to avoid those intersections.

“Local only traffic” will be allowed on residential streets in the affected area, but no traffic will be allowed across the train tracks on Del Amo Boulevard.

Cherry Cove residents may enter and exit your neighborhood at Cherry Avenue and Denmead Street. You will be allowed to use the Clair Del Avenue entrance/exit on Del Amo Boulevard.

Residents east of the railroad crossing and north of Del Amo Boulevard, on Deeboyar Avenue, Silva Street, Ekleson Street, and Maybank Avenue, can exit or enter the neighborhood using Del Amo Boulevard west of Paramount Boulevard as this portion of Del Amo is open to local traffic only.
