A Buena Park man has been arrested on several felony charges after he allegedly hit and killed three females, all from one family, who had just attended a joyous baby shower in Anaheim.
Anthony Lewis Sanchez, 40, is under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter after he apparently hit three women at the 100 block of South Western Avenue, near Lincoln Avenue late Saturday night.
Sanchez will be in an Orange County court room on Monday, Los Cerritos Community Newspaper has confirmed.
The three victims who died were identified by Orange County Coroner officials as Anaheim residents Carmen Mendoza, 56, and her daughter Sheyla Mendoza, 21, and 21-year-old Stephanie Henriquez who is the niece and cousin to the pair.
Sanchez is being held on a $500,000.00 bail at the Central Jail Court. His booking information states that he is 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighs 215 pounds.
